Cocciopesto is manufactured by firing clay at low temperatures of 900° C. to maintain its pozzolanic reaction. It is used in the production of hydraulic (pozzolanic) lime mortar without compromising vapor permeability.
Our brick dust is made by crushing rejected low-fired brick and roof tiles and screened to obtain various aggregates ranging from fine powder to coarse aggregates.
This material has been utilized for over 2000 years to improve lime mortars for use in moist or wet conditions, to mitigate rising damp and in extreme exposure areas such as wall copings, chimney tops, foundation walls, basements walls and floors.
